DAY 2 – Feb 23 | Delhi, Vrindavan, Agra

 

After breakfast we begin our 4-hour drive to Virndavan where we will visit Temples. In evening we will visit the famous and inspiring Taj Mahal, India’s most picture perfect work of architecture and one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World.

 

After our tour, we will enjoy dinner at the hotel this evening before retiring. (B, D)

DAY 03 – Feb 24 |  Agra, Jaipur

 

After breakfast we will drive through the city to the Agra Fort, you will get some good images of the local scene and bazaars, and the everyday buzz of India. Once at the Agra Fort, you will be led through its regal chambers that were once called home to some of India’s most powerful Mughal emperors.


After our tour, we will drive approximately 4-5 hours to Jaipur popularly known as the “Pink City” of Rajasthan, the largest city and the capital of the state. (B, D)

Day 04 – Feb 25 | Jaipur, Pushkar

 

We will enjoy breakfast at the hotel before we have a guided visit to the Amber fort. As you stroll through the magnificent rooms and chambers, observe the various intricate ivory, mirror and glass work. After lunch we will begin our approximately 3-hour drive to Pushkar, one of the most sacred places for Hindus having more than 400 temples and the most important & world famous Brahma Temple (The creator God). Day 1 – Feb 22 Delhi

 Arrival in Delhi. Upon arrival, airport reception and assistance checking into the Airport Hotel. Dinner at hotel. (D)

DAY  05 – Feb 26 | Pushkar, Ajmer, Amritsar

 

We will enjoy breakfast at the hotel before beginning our sightseeing tour of Pushkar. We will take a camel tour into Pushkar to visit Brahma Temple - devoted to Lord Brahma, Pushkar Lake and other beautiful Hindu temples. After Lunch we will be transfer to the railway station at Ajmer to board the train to Delhi. Overnight in Delhi.  (B, D Packed Dinner) 
 

DAY  06 – Feb 27 | Arrive Amritsar

 

In the morning we will board a train in Delhi to Amritsar, the most sacred city for Sikhs. Upon arrival to Amritsar railway station we will be met and transferred to the hotel.


Late afternoon we will enjoy a visit to the Golden Temple. Located in the heart of the city, it is the most visited attraction of Amritsar. Characterized by its four entrance doors (called deoris) in all four directions and the tastefully decorated shrines, the Golden Temple welcomes everyone regardless of the religion or faith one follows. The stunning sanctum, shimmering in the water of the holy tank, flanked by spotlessly clean marble walkways and pavements makes it breathtakingly beautiful. After the excursion, we will return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.  (B, D)

DAY 07 – Feb 28  |  Amritsar

 

The early hours before the sunrise, the Amrit Vela, at The Golden Temple is an extraordinary experience! Visit the Golden Temple for an enchanting start to the day you will never forget! After breakfast experience special group meditations on the grounds of one of the most spectacular holy temples on Earth. In the afternoon visit special local shops and the bazaars around the temple. We will return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.  (B, D)

DAY 08 – Feb 29 |  Amritsar, Haridwar, Rishikesh

 

This morning we will transfer to the railway station to board the train to Haridwar.  Upon arrival at Haridwar railway station, we will be met and transferred approximately one hour to Rishikesh where we will check into and overnight at Parmarth Niketan Ashram.  (B, D)

DAY 9 through Day 15 – Mar 1 through Mar 8  |  Rishikesh
 

Morning and Evening Yoga Classes during International Yoga Festival, Rishikesh and participation in Daily Prayer Services. Overnight at Ashram.  (B, L, D).

DAY 16 – Mar 08 | Rishikesh, Haridwar, Delhi

 

After Lunch we begin the one hour drive back to Haridwar railway station to board the train to Delhi 12:45hrs.


Upon arrival at the Delhi train station 21:10hrs, we will be met and transferred to the international airport to board the international flight home. (Reporting time at international airport is at least 3 hours prior to the flight departure time).  (B, L)
